In the Berkshires we are fortunate to have many wonderful restaurants across the county. Throughout the year we host unique Wine Dinners each with their own particular wine focus and expert guest speaker.

(1)We are excited to invite you to wonderful Wine Tasting of
RED BURGUNDIES from the Incredible 2005 Vintage, featuring the wines of two Top Domaines, Mongeard-Mugneret & Vincent Girardin. The tasting is Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. *Reservations are required, please call any one of our three store locations to make your reservation or for further information.

Points of Interest:
“ 2005 is one of Burgundy’s great red wine vintages”, said Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate. The vintage truly is the best and most consistent Nejaime’s Wine Cellars have seen in our 25+ years of wine experience. We are thrilled to offer this tasting featuring two of Burgundy’s premier houses, Girardin and Mongeard-Mugneret. Robert Parker wrote, “Vincent Girardin is an extremely talented owner and winemaker. His top wines, the Grand and Premier Crus, are at the same quality level as those crafted at Burgundy’s other excellent domaines. What sets this firm apart is the bevy of delicious, eminently drinkable wines it produces from lesser known appellations.”

*Wine guest speaker of the evening is Mr. Chris Marshall, Northeast Sales Manager for importer, Robert Hass of Vineyard Brands. His knowledge and experience will be a great complement to the evening. We hope you can join us!
