Columbia Crest Cabernet Sauvignon (Washington State, USA) This bold style Cabernet Sauvignon displays great complexity & structure. There are aromas of dark berry fruits & plum on the nose with chocolate & vanilla on the palate. This wine pairs well with beef tenderloin or hearty pasta.  90 points, Wine Spectator- "Polished, plush & vibrant, with a core of plum & blackcurrant fruit welling up seductively against hints of sweet spices & cream. The finish lingers beautifully." 

La Vielle Ferme Red (Rhone, France) Deep cherry red in color. The nose is rich & spicy with ripe fruit. On the palate, there is red fruit, such as blackcurrant & blackberry, with spice & a fresh finish. Fresh & juicy with hints of vanilla oak & spice; tangy, lovely & a terrific value. Blend of Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, & Syrah. This is a wine for burgers, pizza or to drink on it's own.

Confidential Reserva Tinto (Lisbon, Portugal) The nose has delicate scents of tobacco & barnyard. This wine pops with very well integrated acidity & an underlying licorice/plum flavor which provide a sweetness to balance the wine. This is an old world wine to make new world or newbies believers. Pairs wonderfully with pork & hearty stews.

Degli Pinot Noir Monferatto (Piedmont, Italy) Brothers Antonio & Paol
o Sperone own & manage this small family estate in the Piedmont. Having already discovered their extremely good, value-priced Barolo, we had to try their Pinot Noir when we heard about it. We were very impressed, not just because it's a textbook example of a beautifully balanced, cool-climate grown Pinot Noir, but because the price was unheard of for a wine of this quality. Piedmont has a very similar micro-climate to Burgundy & this Pinot shows classic characteristics of black cherry & strawberry fruit with bright acidity, earthy nuances & lively tannins. It's aged six months in oak barrels & shows a marked complexity.

Mirth Chardonnay (Oregon, USA) Mirth means happiness & this wine is just that. 100% stainless steel fermented, this is a clean, vibrant Chardonnay. Flavors of golden delicious apples, Meyer lemon & just a hint of ripe tropical fruit marry together beautifully while a balanced acidity gives a bright, clean finish. Pair this refreshing Chardonnay with a Chanterelle herb frittata, lemon roasted chicken, or a mango avocado & smoked salmon salad (yum!).

Columbia Crest Chardonnay (Washington State, USA) Opens with intense aromas of apples & melons, joined by signature characters of crme brlée, caramelized sugar & butterscotch. Ripe orchard fruit flavors are joined by creamy, buttery choices & a balanced, lively acidity, creating a rich yet fresh wine. 88 Points, Wine Enthusiast - "The oak makes the largest impression on this wine, with the notes of vanilla & butterscotch out in front of apple & apricot. It's creamy in feel, trailing slightly toward the finish".
