This refined premier cru shows seductive ripe crushed blackberry and black stone fruit aromas married to notes of spice and toast which are confirmed on the palate and set in a structure of firm yet satiny tannins.
Vinous 90 points - Medium red. Very ripe aromas of redcurrant and chocolate truffle. Sweet, fat and lush in the mouth, but with its red berry flavors currently overshadowed by the wine’s oak element. Best today on the rich, ripe back end, which features notes of cocoa powder and smoky minerality. 90-92 Points (Jan 2013)
