Christian Dalbavie will introduce us to Jadot's 2020 vintage by showcasing flights of White & Red Burgundy wines.
Abount the Vintage:
The 2020 vintage offers a remarkably high level of quality however with below normal quantities in most appellations. This was the earliest vintage in recent memory, with the mild winter prompting the vines to an early start. Hot and dry summer conditions allowed development to speed along to a harvest which commenced in mid-August. The teams were amazed at the pristine and perfect condition of the fruit. Demand for the 2020 wines has been high worldwide.
2020 brings wines that are ripe, concentrated yet with dry finishes and in absolutely perfect condition. These promise to be memorable wines from a most memorable vintage!
