Here’s a cheekily labeled, sustainably-farmed, naturally fermented and boldly forthright Mediterranean blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Alicante, and Grenache, from a family farm in Catalonia, a distinct region and wine culture from within the larger nation of Spain. This wine was clearly made from fully ripe fruit, as it packs a wallop at 14%, with ample fruit and French oak notes, and plenty of earth tone and tannic structure to balance the rich fruit! Low-sulphur too. Drink now with a decant an hour beforehand, or cellar for a few years and let the flavors fully marry for bigger yield. A thick steak and seasoned potatoes is ALL you need with this Catalan mélange. The black cat upon the label is very good luck in this case!
