Cerro Chapeu Sauvignon Blanc
| Category | White Wine |
| Brand | Cerro Chapeu |
| Origin | Uruguay |
In 1973, Quico Carrau Pujol selected this region in northern Uruguay for its continental climate and deep, well-drained red sand soils. This soil formation is known as Batoví. This wine is made from the fruit of vines over 35 years old. It is a tribute to the love of the people who have cared for them all this time. The wine presents a bouquet of citrus and white fruits, with grapefruit and white peach being prominent.
The palate is dry, with a medium body and lively acidity. The fruit flavors from the nose carry through, often with added notes of melon or orange peel. The finish is clean and refreshing, with a lingering acidity.
Elegant and finesse-filled, with a balance of fruit and acidity that makes it enjoyable on its own or with a variety of foods.
