The hand-picked fruit for this expressive Syrah comes almost entirely from the hallowed hills of Saint-Joseph in the Northern Rhone. Pour a glass of this lively and spicy red and its breed will be immediately identifiable. Smoldering hardwood, bacon fat and black pepper aromas greet the olfactory senses.
Dense black fruits anchor those elements on the palate. The texture is persistent but not heavy with a good zing on the finish to maintain balance.
