Beaune Theurons is considered one of the finest Premiers Crus in the commune. Its aromatic bouquet, full body, fine structure and generous fruit culminate in a lingering finish. This wine will develop favorably in the bottle for 10 to 15 years. Pairs well with delicate meat dishes and most cheeses.

The 2019 Beaune Les Theurons 1er Cru (spelled or misspelled with an "h" instead of "Les Teurons"!) has a generous nose of morello cherries and orange blossom, a little airier than the Les Grèves. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins; not a deep or grippy Les Theurons. Lightly spiced with a pleasant bitter note that gets the saliva flowing on the finish. Not long-term but attractive.
