Immerse yourself in the rich history, vibrant culture, and tantalizing flavors of these two legendary wine-producing nations. This seminar will take you on a journey, unveiling the hidden gems and celebrated vintages that have made Austria and Hungary revered names in the world of wine.

Gordon Aleander of Terroir Wines will guide us through an exquisite selection of varietals, showcasing the diverse terroirs, unique winemaking techniques, and distinctive characteristics that define the Dual Monarchy's winemaking heritage.

Taste & explore elegant Methode Champenoise sparkling wines, classic Rieslings & Gruner Veltliners, exotic Zweigelt & Kekfrankos, and the famed dessert wine of Tokaji!


Wines Presented by Gordon Alexander, principal of Terroir Wines, a boutique importer of fine wines from the world's great vineyards.

Gordon has been in the industry for some 30 years. His background includes some of New England's finest retailers, extensive travel through the world's wine regions and a deep love of all things vinous. When he's not honing his tasting skills, Gordon can usually be found either at the kitchen stove or out in the garden.
