 The Cuvée des Demoiselles is the Château Hostens-Picant’s signature white wine. The vines are grown on the vineyard’s best clay-limestone and clay-flint plots. It is often recognized as one of the very best Bordeaux white wines. Crafted with the greatest care and attention to detail, its maturation phase in barrels gives the wine a very pleasant structure. Aging in oak for 10 months facilitates a blanc who’s structure ages beautifully for up to 10 years. The Sauvignon Blanc adds an aromatic range guided by very ripe citrus and white floral notes. The Sémillon brings subtle stonefruit and tropical notes. A wonderful complement to Saint-Jacques scallops, fish & poultry dishes and an array of cheeses.
